Week 1: BAKER-MILLER PINK

...and so it begins.
DAY ONE

To better mix up the colors, I pulled them all out of the drawer and covered them with a quilt on my bed.  I blindly shuffled them and then let the energy from within determine the color by feeling around until the right one presented itself to me.  The first set is BAKER-MILLER PINK.

So far what I can say is that it is a subtle color shift.  Soothing.  At first, I was slightly disappointed in choosing this color as I was hoping for something more extreme, like indigo or magenta.  Then the thought occurred to me to "let go" all the while understanding that sometime "less is more"  and what I have seen in just the few hours into this color is that I miss the deep green hues of the trees around me.  This subtle change might be more intense to deal with than I had expected.

Baker-Miller Pink on a visual level offers a darkening of the trees, almost a browning affect, but pink-ens (of course) the wood fence and white clouds.  It pushes out the brown areas of grass in the yard distinctly separating them from the greener areas.

I have also had a difficult time reading with these lenses, as the pink seems to blend the paper in with the text.  This seems to be more so with smaller print.

Stay tuned for pictures to come and more experience.
