sleepless and crafty

I'm not sure what happened internally over the last 48 hours, but I was wide awake last night until i fell asleep around 0430 (this morning) and woke up ready to start the day at 0845.  I said no way and went back to sleep until 1030.  I am usually in bed by 0000 (midnight).  I kind of freaked me out; i wasn't sure if I should just stay up and pull an all-nighter (which would not have been good for this coming evening with my son).  At 0400, I decided to take some melatonin which seemed to help.

Also, I can feel some sense of rejuvenated craftiness creeping into my brain space.  This is a really good feeling.  I feel as though I have been in a lull for a little while.  I went to Micheal's arts and Crafts and picked up a bunch of sick beads to knot up with some hemp cord.   I like that this sense of creativity is coming back.  It reminds me of watch a pot of water build up to the boiling point--first there is nothing, but then the burner slowly begins to redden and, yet still nothing.  The water begins to warm, small surface bubbles form on the bottom of the pot, I'll watch one give way and rise to the top, then wait, then wait some more, then--oh there goes another bubble, then another, and another, then pretty soon the surface bubbles are rising all over the place and it's time to put in the pasta!  Lol.  It feels like it's almost pasta time!

This week (Week One) is coming to an end tomorrow and I thought I would shed some light on what that is going to look like for the coming weeks ahead so I can keep things uniform.  I plan on writing a couple more posts for Baker-Miller Pink, then in between each week I will take one day off (so I will take this Monday off) from color lense exposure.  This is to give my eyes a little time off. This will allow a moment for some vitals to be taken at "resting rate" (i.e. blood pressure, mental processing, written summary for the week's end, etc.).  Along with summarizing the week just gone by, I will post the list of the proposed benefits and see how they line up with my observed perception of my experience.  *Please understand that I really have not looked at these lists since they were printed out.  So any similarities are just a glimpse at the possibility that the benefits could actually be as suggested as it relates to color therapy.

So-----two more days for Week One, a few more post on Baker-Miller Pink, and Week Two will start on Tuesday with a new color!
