getting back to yellow

So...Yellow is over and I got very caught up in a variety of distractions and procrastination to blog last week.  I have not been doing well mentally.  I have experienced some depression and some hopelessness. This, I believe is no related to Yellow, but nonetheless it is something I was experiencing.  Yellow felt a lot like wearing shop glasses or if I was about to go skydiving, I presume.  I liked them in that I felt I could see further.  My surroundings were brighter and more crisp.  The brightness of headlights at night were less intrusive.  Playing video games seemed better as it allowed for better screen clarity.

Here are some pictures of Yellow and hopefully soon I will be posting a comparison of benefits.  Also,  I will be picking the next color tomorrow and the next color week will start Sunday!

Stumbling Upon Red Week's End

So the Red week has come to an end and, while I am not sure how I feel about it ending, I am excited for the next color--which I'll get to soon enough.

My experience with Red included:

  • Very vivid and intense dreams,
  • A strange sense of empowerment,
  • Potential ocular strain,
  • slightly lighter diet (most foods looked very bland and gross through Red, I didn't feel like eating while wearing them--but was hungry for pretty much anything when I took them off),
  • A sense of resilience, and
  • A feeling of emotional comfort.

One Online source stated that Red has the longest length in the visible spectrum and the lowest rate of vibration.  Some of the possible potential health benefits include:
  • Relief of chronic pain--suggesting that Red may lower the frequency wave lengths causing them to be less excited thereby reducing pain,
  • Reduction of migraines,
  • Stimulate the automatic nervous and circulatory systems,
  • Stimulate the liver,
  • Increase in strength (did not specify mental, emotional, spiritual, or physical),
  • Alertness,
  • Helps children with Autism focus and have reduction of negative symptoms,
  • Acts as a postulant--drawing poisons to a head to be eliminated
  • Help with female disorders (not sure what they are specifically referring to here),
  • Reduce inflammation and swelling,
  • Increased confidence,
  • Increased courage,
  • Increase heart strength and stimulate circulation,
  • Support the building of the blood,
  • Increase blood flow to the brain,
  • Relief of seasickness,
  • Relief or reduction of negative symptoms of Turrets Syndrome, and an
  • Increase in energy.

After just now reviewing the combined Online efforts, much like previous lists, there are some suggested benefits that I am not able to accurately measure given the limits of this experiment.  However, a few stick out that I believe I may have witnessed within myself but may not have been able to put the words together until seeing the list just laid out.  Those few are:
  • Feeling energized,
  • Increased confidence (perhaps that was the sense of empowerment I listed),
  • Alertness, and perhaps
  • Increase stimulation of my circulatory system (limbs falling asleep less frequently).

Dreams in the night

As hinted by the title of this post, my dreams have been very intense this week. Very vivid.  Somewhat intense and very detailed.  Colors are bright, actions are constant, and I am retaining them in the morning.  It's been a long time since I have remembered my dreams in such detail when I wake.  It's nice.

Also, I don't think I would have put this together on my own, but it totally made sense when a co-worker tried on the Red lenses and said "Wow! Everything is very black and white."  I mean, I was looking at it as everything is tinted red and then as I adjust to it, the intensity just seems to fade away; however, after taking in her comment, it is very apparent how black and white the world becomes.  The greens are darkened almost to a black and all the shaded hues of in between are melted away.

Comparisons of an Orange experience

Alright, so... What's been going on is my computer time has become very limited.  So, this project is a little off track. Nonetheless, we're pushing forward with what we've got.  When I say we, I mean all avenues of me.  Wink.  That being said (which by the way might be my new catch phrase), here are the comparison lists for the last color week being Orange.

My Experience:
  • A general increase in social conduct,
  • Better sleep,
  • Waking more restful,
  • Increased appetite,
  • Sometimes feeling self-conscious attitudes, and
  • Other times feeling a strong sense of confidence.

Online Suggested Possible Benefits:
  • Happiness,
  • Stimulate the lungs & thyroid gland to increase oxygen to the body,
  • Warmth,
  • Depress the parathyroid gland,
  • For lactating mothers, stimulate the mammary glands resulting in increased milk production,
  • Reduced menstrual cramps,
  • Relieve cramping, cramps & convulsions in all parts of the body,
  • Sociability,
  • Relieve hiccups,
  • Relieve digestive gas,
  • Playfulness,
  • Treat skin conditions such as boils, carbuncles, & abscesses
  • Resourcefulness, and
  • Build lungs & stimulate the respiratory system: Used to treat Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD), Emphysema, Chronic Bronchitis, Asthma, & Tuberculosis.
Okay, so some of those I do not have direct access to measuring.   It's possible that I had a decrease in digestive gasses, an I suppose an increase in happiness (hard to measure because I am a fairly positive and happy guy to begin with), no lactation or hiccups or menstrual cramps.  I'm not sure what they mean by resourcefulness.  As far as the stimulation or depression of particular glands and organs, I am unable to measure.

I have picked the NEW COLOR and have been patiently waiting for several things to come together before I announce it.  Today is the day when those things have done so and the new color is RED; however, I have decided to extend the time off until Monday, October 14th, 2013.  I think this will also help me re-adjust to the week's start and end.  Think of when you were a kid playing ball in the street and when a car came driving by you'd all yell "Car!", everyone would move to the sides of the street until the car passed and then all or one (perhaps you) would yell out "Game on!"  Well the car has approached and is almost done passing...Game On!  or in this case: "Re-set!"  That being said (there it is again), here is a look ahead at some pictures I took of Red:

Yeah, the impact of the sun intensifies it drastically.

**Please note that I have only worn Red for the quick purpose of these photos and have been holding off on wearing them for the new color week to begin.

BE SURE to CHECK back in sometime after MONDAY...  Be well and have a great weekend.

...a longer delay than expected; worth the wait.

I decided to take a longer than expected time away from wearing a new lense, which has proven to be a much needed rest for my eyes. However, the computer I am currently using has a minor hiccup that only allows me to publish a post using HTML which doesn't allow me to post it in the right format that looks aesthetically pleasing to me. So...please, hang tight. Perhaps, in the meantime, you could purchase the Aqua from BioWaves.com and get all calm with patience. Ta-da!

New Color/ last week comparisons on thier way...

So the New Color pick is RED!   I will have more for you in the next few days to come.  I am going to delay the color week by a few days, as I feel I might be experiencing a little bit of "burn out"  with all these color changes back-to-back.  Apparently, one day is not enough in the long run.  That being said, I will post up the comparisons I have regarding Orange in the next day or two.  The New Color week will start either on  Sunday or Monday (depending on how I am feeling).  Most likely it will start on Sunday as that is my next day off.  Stay tuned...Perhaps if you need something to do in the meantime, you could check out our friends over at Float On or see what's making noise over at Bio Waves!!!
